Who we are
CRIT: UX Edition ("CRIT", "the game") is made and published by Rushabh Pathak, an independent developer based in India ("we", "us"). If you have any question about this policy or your data, email rushi.movi@gmail.com.
The Android app
What we collect: nothing. CRIT does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or any other personal information, and it has no sign-in.
What stays on your device. To remember your game, the app stores a small save file in the app's private storage on your phone: your settings (sound volume, vibration, tutorial on or off), best scores per level, endings you have unlocked, how many careers you have played, and a list of card IDs you have already seen so questions do not repeat. This data never leaves your device, and we cannot see it.
Deleting it. Open Options → Reset progress in the game, clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Any of these removes all of it.
No ads, analytics or tracking. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. It does not use the Android advertising ID.
Internet and permissions. The game runs fully offline. The only time it uses the internet is if you tap Privacy policy in Options, which opens this page in your browser. The app uses your phone's vibration motor for haptic feedback if you leave Vibration switched on; you can turn it off in Options.
Google Play. The app is distributed through Google Play. When you download it, Google may process data about you under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive personal data from Google about individual players. If a future version adds anything that collects data, we will update this policy and the Play Store data safety section before it ships.
This website and the waitlist
Waitlist. If you enter your email in a "Join waitlist" form, we collect that email address and which form you used. We use it for one purpose: to email you when CRIT launches on Google Play (and, if you are still on the list, when an iPhone version launches). We will not send marketing for anything else, and we never sell or share your email.
Where it is stored. Form submissions are stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., which processes them on our behalf. See Netlify's privacy policy. Like any web host, Netlify may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and protect the site.
How long we keep it. Until the launch emails have been sent, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Every launch email will also tell you how to be removed.
Cookies. This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and it has no analytics.
Children
CRIT is a game about working life in design and is not directed at children under 13. The app collects no personal data from anyone, of any age. The website waitlist is not intended for children under 13; if you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the waitlist email we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, at any time by writing to rushi.movi@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. These rights apply wherever you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU/UK GDPR.
Security
Game data stays inside the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read. The website is served only over HTTPS.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects what data the app collects, we will update the policy before releasing the app version that makes the change.
